Default finding the cg of a bplane

Does anybdy know how to find the center of gravity of a biplane ?

For the most part, i use the same method as Les. The difference being that i use X = 50% of Gap. I am not sure if that is going to make a big difference overall or not. Any thoughts on that Les?

OK: That diagram is from Lennon on Bipes, and I think your 50% will make the plane more tail heavy; Lennon very close to neutral. For whatever difference that all makes in flying.

I see what you are saying and tend to agree, in a lot of cases the area of the lower wing is less than that of the upper wing. I just had not seen this formula before. Thanks for posting it.
