Looks like maybe a Tweety Bird...(smaller version of the Dirty Birdy pattern ship of the mid 70's ) that uses a .15 to .25 or so size engine.

What size engine is that?

There is also a Baby Birdie, for .049 to .10 engines.

In the pic's it has a OS 40 on it, I'm stripping covering now, and trying to find out what it is. This way, I can decide if it's worth set of retracts, and if a 55AX will fold the wings up. I may not be able to get enough prop clearance with the 55 so may just stick the 40 back on it. I didn't tach it, but when I fired it up, with the prop that was on it,9x4 or 9x7 can't remember, it was screaming. I'll get wing span, and fuse length up later, and see if that helps identify.

Sure looks like a member of the "Birdy" (or Birdie ) family...kitted by Joe Bridi.
I don't recall right off hand if they made a .40 size version?

Definitely a Dirty Birdi 40. If memory serves me correctly, the Bridi kit went out of production in the early 1990's. But, Global manufactured it for a while after that.

I have a Birdie 10, the smaller version. It flies very well.

I'm trying to do a search on it, but not getting very much bk, I sent firstplaceaviator a pm, to see if he knew any links/sites for info. The new search stuff here on RCU isn't turning anything up, but I'm not that computer savy, and it's probably me. The old serach used to be easy and would take you right where you could find info, but not anymore. I'm hoping someone can help with the spec's
