futaba 4yf transmitter battery voltage
Can I "check" the voltage of my futaba 4yf 600mah 9.6v transmitter battery with a voltmeter by plugging it into the right side of the transmitter (charge recepticle hole) or do I have to take the battery completely out of the transmitter to check the voltage?

i dont think so, their is a diode that only lets current flow in, not out. i could be wrong though, why not give it a try you wont fry anything.

I am not familiar with the 4yf, but most Futaba TX are just like jj said, there is a diode that will not let the current out to check it.
