Lithium Polymer Battery

Has anyone used a Lthium Polymer battery (11.1V) inthe Futaba's 9C super transimiter? If so did it work O.K

I can fly 3 or 4 weekends without recharging and lithium packs dont self discharge so if I dont get out for a week or two its still fully charged.
