Major Sig somethin extra engine problem

Default Major Sig somethin extra engine problem

I'm mounting the engine for my sig somethin extra. I have serious problems:...

1) The engine hangs wayyy out past the fronts of the fuselage sides
2) my throttle is going to be tricky, (dont' know how to fix it
3) INEEDHELP!!!!!!

Use a cable you can run the plastic tube as far out as you need and the cable still works well. The times I have done this the tube doesn't melt from the engine heat. Good luck.

Ive got a saito 56 for it. Very hard to hook up the throttle for a 4 stroke.

Try running the pushrod out and making a U-bend back toward the throttle arm. You could also try a Du-bro 4-stroke linkage: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD939&P=7

Ok thanks. I ordered that four stroke linkage! Should work very well!

You can just use a long bend in the throttle pushrod and go directly into the arm, or through an EZ connector

Ok thanks minn. I just got all the servos mounted, and the engine, so I will be working hard on the throttle.
