Default inverted Saito 100

Should a inverted Saito 100 need a onboard glow system?

mpspx8,
I have a Saito 120s inverted on my GP Extra. It runs great and does not need anything to make it work.

My BUSA quarter scale Cub has an inverted Saito 100. Works fine, but I did use a remote glow connector. No onboard glow.

And yes, the power is perfectly adequate for scale flight.

Best wishes,

Your Saito 100 will start and run just fine inverted as long as you cover the basics. OS-F glow plug, fuel tank height within acceptable limits, you properly tune the low end needle, and use good fuel.
I sort of prefer to run my 4 strokes inverted as they are easier to prime and once the sequence is learned they can be started with one or two back flips of the prop.

I used my Saito 100 inverted from the day it was new and I used pro 20-20 fuel and swinging a 14x8 prop with no problems at all and going into it's second yesr it is still running perfect
good luck and safe flying.
