Default Evolution .46 Muffler Issue

Can not get the two halves to stay together. Seems to be an issue with the threads on the center rod. May be stripped. I have tried JB Weld to hold them together. Heat breaks down expoxy based compounds. Has anyone else dealt with this.

Default RE: Evolution .46 Muffler Issue

I repair them with a redi-rod from our ACE hardware . I use a brass acorn nut on the front end that is screwed tight on the redi-rod & then a regular nut & a locking nut on the rear ,using the regular nut first . You will need to drill the front & rear of the muffler so the bolt will pass through. I have fixed several like this . Max H.
