Did JR offer the XP 8103 both in digital and standard trims or did they come out with the digital trims after the standard? If they came out with the digital trims later can you tell me when?

I have 2 8103's, one with standard and one with digital. As far as when the change was made I have no clue as I bought both of these systems off from fleebay.

My 8103 has digital trims except for the throttle which is analog (probably what you're calling standard).

The 8103 originally came out with analog trims.  They switched to the digital trims part way through the radio's life cycle.  There was a brief time when you could buy both, like there is in any product transition where old stock is sold down.
