hopping up OS 1.60

HI guys just wondering if anyone has any tips on hopping up a OS 1.60 I need a little more power without changing the engine.

Try different props. The APC 18X6 W seems to work the best for my 160's but the high end compsite or graphite props may be even better

Prop selection. Start testing and see if you can find a prop that works better for you. More nitro will give you a few hundred more RPM but remove more money from your pockets. A pipe works great but they tend to only work well on the high end of the RPM range and tend to loose reaction in the mid range of operation. About the only thing we as owners can do to these engines is raise the compression and that can make things worse. Someone like Clarence Lee may be able to change the port timing and get more out of them but it's beyond most of us. Props make a huge difference. For more thrust you can try a longer prop with a smaller pitch and a smaller prop with a bigger pitch for more speed. There is no one magic size of prop, you must test to find the one that works for you.
