Where to find 7/8" wing tube and socket?
A flying buddy of mine needs a 7/8" wing tube and socket. He does not own a computer, so he asked me to help him locate one. He was given a website, tntlandinggear.com, but I can't get the site to load. Do any of you guys know anywhere else I might find what he needs, or if the website is still in operation? I, and he, appreciate any help you could offer.

RE: Where to find 7/8
If you have a set of mics or calipers, check the exact O.D. then go to a Lowes or Home Depot and look in their broom and mop section anpd auto section for their expandable tools. Find one with the correct O,D. the cost for the whole tool will probably be less than the tube from an RC supplier.
I needed a 9/16" tube for a Sig Something Extra, found an auto window washing squeege [ exact O.D. and wall thickness] for 4.98, cut the tube from the handle. The Sig tube was $12.00 plus about $10.00 frt. Gary |

RE: Where to find 7/8
the sig 1/5 scale cub uses a 7/8 inch wing tube. I know because I got one from them for my cub. Go to the Sig website and click on the 1/5 scale cub parts list and you should find it. You get the tube and the aluminum pipe. The site is kind of hard to figure out when it comes to parts, but if you type in "wing tube" I think you might find it. Good luck
