Removing Wrinkles

I'm building and ESM ARF and it has numerous wrinkles in the preapplied covering material which is prepainted. I have tried both an iron and heat gun but to no avail. Is there a method I'm overlooking?

Sometimes they just can't be removed short of recovering.  Try using a sewing needle (not a "T" pin) and poke a few tiny holes along the wrinkle and then smooth it with an iron.

Thanks, for the reply. I never thought of using a sewing needle, have always used a pin. I'll get a sewing needle and give it a try. I have to assume the the sewing needle has a finner tapered tip than the "T Pin".

That's the idea.  That's a tip I got from a man who covers models in gloss black and they look like they came out of the Mercedes-Benz paint shop.
