How to stop wing flexing

So heres my tought battle. I have an old decathlon donated to me. Once i finished it up i noticed i needed wing struts. After i added the struts i noticed weak points in the struts mounting areas and so forth. My main nightmare is taking off and having my wing snap after so much hard work. So what can i do to at least assure me that the wing wont flex and snap?

Repair or replace the "weak spots" in the strut attachment areas.

Add strips of fiberglass tape spanwise on the bottom of the wing. If you want a better looking solution, tear off the covering and add good shear webs to the spars.
