ASP .61 2 stroke engine stalling problem.

<span style="font-family: Comic Sans MS;">I have an ASP .61 2 stroke engine on a showtime 50.When I start the engine I dont have any problems at all. When I raise the airplane fully noise up to do some 3D aerobatics the engine is suffering from a stalling problem. The engine stops TOTALLY and last 3D aerobatics I was going up for a 3D torque roll and the engine stopped and crashed causing no airspeed at all.Now I fixed the airplane as I had some minor cracks in the wings because of the landing gear.I started off the engine and the problem is still there.Could you please help me?

Thanks Clayton Vella

RE: ASP .61 2 stroke engine stalling problem.

Welcome to the RCU forums, clay3D!

After tuning the engine, grab it and point the nose up to verify that will not die due to having to pull the fuel all the way from the tank while keeping that attitude in 3D flight.

If it dies while pointing out, open the needle valve a little and try again successively until the engine keeps running and properly transitioning in that attitude.

Check for mixture adjustment at this webpage:

Best luck!
