perry pump
Just wondering what peoples input would be on this. I installed a perry pump on a saito 72. Reason is where tank is in my yak muffler pressure could not get fuel to carb good. So i installed it could not get it set up right so i give up on it. So i got to thinkinking what i was going to do to fix fuel problem. So i experimented with perry pump. I took it off fuel side and installed it on muffler pressure side. Took fuel line off of muffler and running off crankcase pressure. Now getting fuel to carb no problem Got motor running good plenty of fuel to carb. Has anyone else tried this? Would like peoples input on this. If not good idea would like to know what i would need to do to get fuel to carb better.

RE: perry pump
Don't quite follow just what you hooked what to what . The one line from the crankcase is a vent not a pressure line . You should use a Perry VP-20 oscillating pump . They are made for 4-strokes . Max H. :)

RE: perry pump
I've been using the Perry Crankcase pressure pump for years. For the proper connection scheme I suggest studying the illustration found on the ConLey Perry Pump Website at http://www.perrypumps.com/instructions.htm.
Good Luck. |
