storing planes question

hi there, i have seen some systems for storing planes that you can hung them and bring them up and down with a rope, looks like a very good system to keep them of the ground; anybody knows the manufacturer?
regards and thanks.

Don,t know if you will find a manufactuer for anything specific but rigging a simple system of pulleys would be no big engineering feat but the down side is when you start to add other airplanes the rigging can get quite complex.

Here is a simple hanger that I use with many airplanes in addition to other storing methods. It is for assembed airplane from small to medium size. It just quarter inch soft iron rod bent to shape by hand and some plastic tubing slipped over the rods.

I think my method is nice, simple and easy to make yourself, My fuselages hang from rope tied to PVC tubing that is screwed into the floor joist. The wing stand I made from PVC tubing and is secured to the celling with plumbers strap is couple of "legs" on the back side to angle it away from the wall.

Hey, John, you have quite a hangar there!!:)

It seems that you have been building and flying for a while.

The small pullys can be bought at most any hardware store, no reason to buy a system that says RC on it. Something like john has made is great for attaching the planes to the line, keeps things from warping due to the planes weight.

Ya it fluctuates kinda up and down a bit. Started in the fifties and never really quit except for one little trip overseas.
