Pullstart?
 

I have a nitro car and it has a pullstart engine, the only problem is i have had to replace the pullstart twice already! is there a better way of starting it? (Not using the motor against the flywheel please!) ;)

I have a friend that has 2 1/8 4wd buggy's with Force .21's Both units have pullstarts and both pull start chords have been replaced with heavy braided, extremely strong chord from a fishing supply store. He has not had a problem since and, I want pull start on my 1/10 scale stadium truck. I run a Yokomo .12 in mine and I am trying to find a pullstart for it. I think that is the best, most convienient way of starting. Right now I use a homemade box with a roller blade wheel to start it. I have to hook it up to my truck with jumper cables. I' m going to watch your post for other ideas for me too. Heres a picture of my box :D
