Progamming the Futaba 7c - "digital" rudder

Ok. I want to program my Futaba 7C to control two micro switches. They will be used to turn on some electric components.

I want to use one servo on channel 7 using the "G" switch. I want it to work just like mixing in a second rudder, but WITHOUT tying it to the rudder channel. In short, when the "G" switch is in the center position, I want the servo at neutral. With the "G" switch in the top position, I want the servo full right, with "G" in the bottom position I want the servo full left.

This is "easy" if I also tie channel 7 to channel 4 or 1, but then the servo moves as the control stick is moved. The switch only engages or disengages the mix. I want the switch to control the position of the servo.

I don't think it's possible. Futaba left off the "set center position" adjustment unless you tie the channel to another channel. I want this to be an OFS mix.

Any ideas?

Sure, go the AUX CH menu, set the channel your trying to control to the G switch

Might be under parameters, I forget the menus on that radio

That would be sweet if I knew where that menu was. There is no reference to it in the manual and I cannot find it while going through the menus on the transmitter.

Thanks for trying, though.

My apologies and thanks.  I looked under Parameters and found the switch setting for Ch7.  Changed it to "G", and got exactly what I wanted, no mix, no fuss.

Thanks again Andy.
