timing gas engine

could someone tell me how to time a gas engine with a rcexl ignition hall sensor test kit. thre were no instructions with it. thanks

There is a gas engine sub forum in the giant scale forum with a lot of info. Not sure what that kits has. Is it a clip on TDC needle, a degree wheel and a half a prop?? That's all I have ever used. It's so simple and it didn't cost anything.
