hitec crystal for dual conversion fm channel 42
 

hi gang

I need rcvr crystal for hitec dualconversion fm rcvr and local hobby shop informs me they have
been discontinued. everyone seems to be going to 2.4 but on retirement income is kinka out
of reach for me and I have too much equip on 72 to junk it.
in the past have switched freq in planes and rcvr and had extra crystal for 59, 52, 57,31 37 and 42
but the 42 crystal is not to be found.

so does anyone have a hitec 42 dual conversion they no longer intend to use and would like
to party\ with?

Hobby Horse at hobbyhorse.com is the primary retail outlet for Hitec equipment. I just checked their website and they have your crystal for $6.99.

My LHS has them, if not then Servo City will have them. 72 crystals no longer being made is a new one on me. RXs and crystals are still in supply. I'm sure a number of LHS are going to quit stocking them though. Items that don't move quickly are not going to be stocked.
