YS 140 no compression
 

I believe that I have a stuck ring in a YS 140. I have no compression and the valves seem fine. The engine runs but with no power and lots of smoke no matter where the needle is. I've tried using some oil down the cylinder, and running the engine to heat it up to try and free the ring but with no success. Any advice would be appreciated.

There is a YS Engine Direct Support forum. Might get a quick answer by posting there. Or maybe in the generic Glow Engine forum

I do my own work but have gasket kits and parts on hand. If for any reason I need work done for me I send my engines into YS service. YS support is a great site to ask YS questions and get some very good answers. A stuck or broken ring is something I would go in and look to see if I had a problem.
