Plans coversion from dwg to pdf

I have a plans that is in dwg file, I would like to convert it to pdf file, retaining its scale properties. Actual dimension is 30" x 58". Anyone knows how to do this?

Do you have autocad or do you just have your plans in .dwg format? If you do have autocad, you can convert your plans using that program just by plottining it to a file instead of your printer. Other than that, I would say check with a local print shop. I have a local store that will convert any type of file into whatever format I want.

Adobe Acrobat Pro can do this pretty simply. If you have a contact with Acrobat Pro - do a google search and you'll find howto threads. Guessing that David's local store has it.

If you would like to send me the file I will convert it for you and send it back. I can convert it quicker than I can explain how to do it! :D

Hi Guys,

This is not that hard to do. When you convert to a pdf you actually install a printer (cutepdf) and print (save) the file.

Try this http://www.cutepdf.com/

This is the freeware version

Prboz,

Thanks for posting that link. This is exactly what I have needed to convert from the very basic CAD program that I have. I tried two files and it seems to work great!
