hi guys

I am in the process of re covering an old bird and having a PITA of a time at it.

So I was looking for the vido'a that Rc.Ken made to see if I can find some tips that will help

I think one of the reasons I am having most of the trouble is I am trying to use up a lot of my old covering material. biggest problem area is going arround compound cures.

So any suggestions will be a help

Thanks in advance

Cheers Bob T

RE: covering
;) I helped Mikey (my Brother, Minnflyer) with those articles ;)
Compound curves are ALWAYS a PITA... but as I recall that issue is 'covered' ( :-D ) in the videos.
c'mon back if you're still having issues, as far as 'old' covering, I've never had a big issue with that specifically,
unless it was crappy covering in the first place.

RE: covering

The corners were covered, and tried to do them as shown but did not come out as good as I would have liked but will do as this is a repair on an 20 year old bird, and it look a hole lot better than it did

RE: covering
If you're using Monokote or some of the cheaper coverings, curves and wing tips are a challenge. In my opinion, you would probably have better success using Ultracote.
