Where can I get fuel proof paint that I can brush on instead of spray,,all I can find is the Lustrecoat spray cans ,,which I have.

There's the classic butyrate dope that your LHS may have. If not, Sig and Aircraft Spruce has it. You may also contact Systems Three and ask if their water based poly brushes well. It's fuel proof when you add their crosslinker.

The systems three is ready to brush,,you actually have to thin it quite a bit to spray it.

Tazz, you could try Behr preimium flat in sample sizes from Home depot and the systems three clear,, both are very brushable,,

my experiances with those products here http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/seap...5-years-2.html

going to be re-doing my p-47 next with the Behr/S3

good luck

Put a gas motor in it and then you won't have to worry about it :) Yep, latex paint and klass coat clear on top.

Klass Kote goes on great with just a brush, leaves no brush marks and a foam brush can also be used. Fuel and bullet proof.

While expensive but well worth it, I also recommend KlassKote. It is a two part epoxy paint that is very durable and easily applied with just a brush. It also covers very well, in most cases one coat is adequate, even on the light colors.

I'm telling you guys try the Behr Flat sample size paints and the top coat for fuelproofing, you'll never go back,, No fumes, all water based clean up and thinning at a fraction of the cost. I'll never use those RC priced paints again.
