Programming Ch. 6 Futaba T7C Trying to get full travel
 
I'm trying to program ch. 6 for float retracts. I have it configured on P-Mix1 using Switch E.
My problem is I'm only getting half the travel even though I am setting it up at 100%. I am going to need full travel to get the rudders all the way up.
Ch. 7 is set up for flaps with switch G. Position 1 flaps up, position 2 for take off, position 3 for landing. And Ch.1 and 5 are ailerons. I have the battery and my rudder retract servo on Ch. 6

Did you disable the rotary control for ch6 or is it still active?

Would help if you indicated what channel you are mixing ch 6 with and what settings you are currently using on the P-Mix display.

Master is set to OFS Slave is Ch6. RT>-100%

Are you using an actual retract servo(i.e., non-proportional) for the rudder retracts or a standard servo?

The problem with the 7C is that the knob will stay active unless you're using channel 6 for the second aileron servo by turning on the flaperon function. Your best bet is to use the flaperon function for your two aileron servos and then set channel 5 to the switch you use to activate the rudder retract function. Also, if you're not using a retract servo, which turns 180 degrees, you may not have enough travel with a standard servo, but that's all depending upon how the rudder retract function's set up.

This eliminates a mix. Since you have regular flaps on channel 7, you don't activate the Flap Trim function, which is used to make the ailerons move as flaps in addition to their regular function, and it controlled by the knob. When you're not using the ailerons that way, the knob is inactive.

I'll play around with that set up.
I'm not sure why I used 1 & 5 for ailerons instead if 1 & 6 but I must of had a reason at the time. I think I was going to use 6 for the flaps. But since then, decided I wasn't comfortable turning the knob and went with the 3-position switch instead.

Got it!
I'm now using Ch.6 for the second aileron and Ch.5 along with switch E for the rudder retracts and getting full travel from the servo.
