Servos voltage
I have Futaba servos 3003 and 3004 will they handel 7.6 volts
|
6 volts max you will need a voltage regulator
|
I have many 3003 and 3004 servos in several planes running 2cell life packs. Full charged voltage is 7.2. Never had a, problem.
|
No. A full charge may be over 7V but the full charge on a 7V system will be 8 or greater. Use a voltage regulator. Burn up a servo in flight you loose an airplane
|
As I said above. A fully charged 2 cell LIFE pack is 7.2 volts only. Voltage drops a bit when taken off the charger.
If your getting more than 7.2 volts on a 2 cell LIFE pack you are over charging. |
I run LiIons they're 8.4 off the charger. He didn't say what pack he's using. Not arguing just pointing things out
|
Jetmech05,
No problem. |

Also for those interested, a 2-cell LiFe pack produces 7.2 volts fully charged but quickly drops under load to around 6.4 volts and remains there until it gets close to discharge then the voltage quickly drops down/falls off. Most servos and receivers and some ignitions can use a LiFe pack with no regulator. |
Thanks for the info

Ask the manufacture they produce the product.

flycatch, since when does logic prevail on RCU?. Dan.

Thanks for promoting logic however that was lost when our hobby was taken over by the toy industry.
