Where do I find this nylon parts????
 

Does anyone know where I can purchase the part shown below? It is nylon, used to hold wing struts on among other things.....

If you can't buy 'em let me know Jerry. We can have them 3d printed out of nylon all day long, any shape and size you need.

Since I don't have a 3d printer, I would cut them from a carbon graphite plate laminated on a sheet of glass. They look small, so make a small plate and cut it on a bandsaw.

One more thing to consider. I have seen a lot of 3D printed parts, but know very little about them. How strong are they? I assume it depends on the plastic they are printed out of, since there are many to choose from.

I use plastic kitchen cutting board available at home depot. Cut them out with your bandsaw, drill a hole and you're good to go.

I have needed these in the past and I modified thumb screws by simply cutting off unneeded material on the ears of the screws to the same width as the screw diameter, drilled a hole in the middle of the left over portion of the thumb screw, screwed them into the blind nut or threaded insert and attached the wing struts to them; Lowes or Home depot sells them.
