does anyone have a 2 gear retract schematic , and is it possible to extend retract gear wile not installed in the plane to check clearance ?

What kind of gear, air or electric?

Either way, yes you can hook them up and cycle them in the plane or not

Air

That narrows it down to 2 basic designs. The original Rhom Air style that is air up - air down; and the Spring air style that is air up and spring down. Easy to tell the difference, do the retracts have 1 or 2 air fittings on each one?
