ESC compatability

ok first off, don't yell at me or anything because this is prolly a stupid question.
Alright now, I have an ESC that is set up to plug into a Futaba RX, but I have a JR radio system. So my question is this, is their any way I can use the ESC with the radio? I note that the male end of the plug on the Futaba is a little wider than the female slot on the RX. I looks like the prongs are spaced the same, but I don't really know if the wires correspond or anything. So any help anyone could give me would be great.(and I like to keep is as cheap as possible)
Cheers,
-Z

Take your X-Acto and slice that alignment tab off of the Futaba plug it it will work withyour JR.

a jr radio is positive shift and a futaba is a negative shift. they won't work together unless the jr system allows you to switch between them.

It's a speed controller, shift makes no difference...

i know, i am talking about the tx and rx. a +shift tx won't work with a -shift rx unless the tx is switchable.
