Goldberg Eaglet

Hey all,

I just got a great deal (20 bucks!) on a used Goldberg Eaglet and it is in fabulous shape from what I can tell. It is built with ailerons, but built with only one servo for them.

My question is does anyone have a manual on this plane that may show how to bash in 2 aileron servos? CG products does not put their manuals online and as I got the plane used, I received no plans or manual from the seller. Or perhaps anyone have experience with this particular kit/ARF that may be able to relate their experience?

It isn't the end of the world for me if I end up having to stick with the single servo, but I would like to have flaps if it can be done easily.

The wing bottom is sheeted out to the second rib and the forward servo screws are right above the main spar so I am not worried about support there, however the trailing edge servo mount is only supported by the root rib and some sheeting and to extend that out the extra 1/2 inch or so on each side to accommodate the extra servo has me worried about strength. It is a trainer after all! [sm=lol.gif]:D[sm=rolleyes.gif]

As always any help / info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Cameron

this plane flies so slow, flaps wont add much...I would just fly it with the way it is setup now...the ailerons are so small, it wont add mush in the way of a real flap...;) good score..:)

The plane flies great the way it is,I would add the extra weight of another servo.
