two models-two engines ?????
Ok, so I went a little nuts and bought a saito 91, a KB 60, a u can do 46, and a CB super chip[munk (60).
I originally thought that I would put the saito in the u can do for obscene amounts of power. But the more I think about it I can see myself doing a highspeed fly by and have the control surfaces disintigrate. :( Anybody know how the u can do will fly with the KB 60? Thanks! |
RE: two models-two engines ?????
One word: Lackluster. Put the 91 in it. You won't be dissapointed!

RE: two models-two engines ?????
Since they are new, why not take the KB60 back and get another 91?

RE: two models-two engines ?????
Go with the Saito in the U CAN DO, just be sure to use a large diameter- low pitch prop to prevent excessive speed.

Here's what I would do...
Put the 91 in the chippie, and return the 60 for an engine suited to the UCD like a 52 2-stroke, or (better yet) an OS 70 or Saito 72 4-Stroke. The UCD's work VERY well with the engines they are designed for. |
RE: two models-two engines ?????
I guess I should have said that both engines are used :)
the .91 4S would make the cipmunk sound super cool.. I'm just wondering if I'm going to be able to hover effectively with the KB 61 2s in the u can do? It would be wonderful to have saito 91's in both of them..but I guess it would also be wonderful not to pay $850/month in child support. [:@] |
RE: two models-two engines ?????
I wouldn't even go so far as to say the UCD would hover at all with the 60...

RE: two models-two engines ?????
The K&B is not what you want on the UCD, mine was not great with a MAG 61 and really lacked for my style of flying, it was ok and that is what the UCD is not about! Have a Mag 91 FS on it and love it, no power problem, he, he.
