Painting Monocoat
 
Am new,can you paint the mono covering with paint and if so,what type should I use? I have a cessna that looks like 2 at my flying field and I can't stand it!!!!!!! So,help me be differant and tell me how to paint,PLEASE

Yes, you can paint it. If the planes is used, you'll have to get it REALLY clean first. Scuffing up the surface is a good idea too.

As for paint, I really like 21st Century paint by Black Barron.

If you are bound and determined to paint, Mikes advice is excellent.

Why not get some other colors of Monokote, or, preferably Ultracote (it does not have the same problems with bubbles when applied over film that Monokote does) and trim it that way?

Edit: Assuming that you don't want to change the color of the entire plane, of course.
