I HAVE A CAP232 THAT I AM JUST FINISHING AND THE MOTOR IS MOUNTED UPSIDE DOWN THE TANK IS ABOVE THE ENGINE CENTER LINE AND THE MUFLER PRESHURE LINE IS ON THE BOTTOM OF TH MOTOR I CAN GET IT TO RUN GOOD BUT WHEN THE PLANE CLIMBS THE ENGINE DIES I THOUGHT ABOUT GETING A NEW CARB AND A PUMP DO I REALY NEED ONE? OR DO I JUST NEED TO KEEP PLAYING WITH THE AIR BLEED SCREW ? ALSO MY FUEL AND FILL LINES ARE IN THE BOTOM TWO CORNERS OF THE TRIANGLE AND THE VENT IS AT THE TOP SHOULD I PUT THE VENT AND FUEL LINE UP TOP AND PUT THE FILL ON THE BOTTOM OR WILL I BE OK

I had a similar issue with OS 46 LA, but after a while I discover the problem: tank fill tube too short!
before buy pumps or evrithing else, my suggestion is to chek your tank, pressure tube and of course carburation... It may hope to use a little amount of nitro, 5% or more.

You're tank is mounted too high. Gravity is forcing fuel to you're engine therefore forcing you to set the mixture lean on the ground. When you pull vertical, gravity is no longer helping push the fuel and the motor leans out and dies. Is it possible to lower you're tank? The top of the tank should be appx 3/8" above the level of the needle valve. Good luck.

WHAT DO YOU EMAN TANK FILL LINE TO SHORT? AND NO THERE IS NO WAY TO MOVE THE TANK IF THE MOTOR WERE UPRIGHT THE TANK WOULD BE IN THE RIGHT SPOT BUT IT NEEDS TO BE UPSIDE DOWN TO FIT IN THE COWEL WHEN THE PLANE IS UPSIDEDOWN THE TANK IS RIGHT. RIGHTSIDE UP IT IS TO HIGH WHAT DO I DO ? I WILL TRY TO TAKE SOME PICTURES AND PUT THEM ON HERE[8D][8D]

Ok, forgive my english, as you can see it's not my mother tongue. So I'll try to explain me:
inside your tank, there is a short fuel tube: one side is linked to the "pendulum" for drink the moisture, the other side is linked to a copper tube in wich you plug the fuel line that goes to carburator. That sounds ok?
Well, in my plane, the fuel tube INSIDE the tank was too short, so when climbing, moisture went - for gravity plus acceleration- in the rear side of tank; too far (due the short tube) from my pendulum, that goes dry. Engine become lean and dies...
It was quite difficult for me to discover this problem, because I had to open tank.
