How to keep servo leads off of pull-pull cables?
I have a GP Extra 300 40 sized ARF that I've installed pull-pull for the rudder and rear servos for the elevator.
My question now is, since the servos are above the pull-pull wires, now do I keep the servo leads from resting on, and messing up the pull-pull cables? My hand won't fit far back into the fuse from the wing opening? Does anyone have any suggestions on a good way to deal with this problem without cutting a hole in the bottom of the fuse? Thanks, Keith |

Slice some fuel tubing along the edge and use it as a servo lead guide. Glue it to the inside of fuse where you want to route the servo lead. Spread the the slice open and slide the servo lead in.

You need a tube inside the fuselage to run the servo wires through.
Make a tube out of a piece of paper. Cut it to length and then unplug the servo leads at the reciever. Slide the tube over the wires and then plug the wires back into the reciever. Glue the tube into the fuselage with some thin CA. Ba-da-bing! You now have a tube that will hold the servo leads up and away from those pull-pull cables. |

Very interesting idea Rcpilet. I never really considered making my own tube using paper.
Thanks for the tip. Keith |
