rf frequency scanner

Any recommendations on where to purchase a rf frequency scanner that scans the aircraft frequencies 72.01MHz to 72.99MHz

Radio Shack or the Uniden scanners that are programable.
Years ago I picked up a hand held Uniden that I can program up
to the 800.000 freq.'s I was reading some of the recent posts on scanners and thinking of getting one. Duh, then the light came on
that I've owned one for the last ten years. Now I can use it for
more than late nite central division police dispatch or those little
things held up to drivers ears.

R/C handheld freq. scanner

Nice little gadget to have handly; however, if you tell everybody you have one of those , every one will want to borrow it then, you will loose it. Ha! Ha!

ICOM Communications has one just right for R/C It is their IC-R2 model handheld receiver which acts as a scanner because it is programmable.

Also try Aerografixs; they offer a french made one called Model Scan SL 72A made specifically for R/C 72 band.
