JingYou,

There are a couple of hobby shops in KL (Imbi Plaza) and PJ (AmCorp Mall). However, selection and prices are not as good as in Singapore.

Yes, very expensive. But something is going on at least. In one of the other threads, I mentioned that a Dave Patrick 330L bought a year ago was RM2,100 from a LHS. Myrcstore had it listed for RM2955.50. Checked today and the price came down to RM2659.90. However, still a long way to go. Especially since a flying buddy of mine just had one shipped from Chief Aircraft (US) and all it cost him when he figured in everything is less than RM1,900.00! And it is the latest version too! Laser cut, dual ailerion option, top removable without having to remove canopy, and all. :p

Come on myrcstore, you can do better than that!

Buying on the web

I agree that the pricing is a little on the high side for airplanes. But for accessories, they are WAY CHEAPER than all the LHS here. I know the people running myrcstore.com personally. I will mention to them about the pricing of airplanes and see what can be done. As far as I know, all their goods are declared with customs, most LHS here hand carry the units one by one. myrcstore.com brings them in by courier and road and brings many units at once so they must be declared. Tax alone is 5% + 10%.

As for shipping, they do not charge for shipping from Singapore to Malaysia. Just from Malaysia (specifically Klang Valley) to other states.

For shipments outside of Malaysia, they ship directly from Singapore.

Check out www.myrcstore.com. It is the web site for NTC Engineering Hobbies in Singapore. Prices there are displayed in USD, SGD and MYR. MYR prices include shipping from Singapore to Malaysia and Taxes. If you are shipping anywhere else, then shipping is separate.

There is also a distribution center in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Dayan:

It has been asserted that you work for myrcstore.com. Ifthis is so then the rules require you to identify yourself as an agent for them.

Please clarify.

Thanks.

Bill.
