Sig SE throw setup
 

Ok, just set the throws up and could use somehelp...i think.

i dont have a comp. radio, so i set the throws to mid range of sigs high/low rate suggestion. on the left aileron, im getting 1.5 inches up, and only 1.25 inches down. on the right side, its the opposite, 1.25 up, 1.5 down.


same on the elevator, a bit more down elevator than up.


i dont think its a big deal, maybe the roll rate left will just be faster........
does anyone know what causes it and how to fix it? no, i dont have a computer radio, so no hocus pocus, guess i have to rely on a good old fashioned mechanical fix

Make sure the linkages on both wing panels are exactly the same, with the servo arms parallel to the wing TE at neutral.

To me it sounds like the servos are not completely centered at neutral. Some servo arms are better than others, and some of the splines in the servo studs are not cut the same. Then as said in other posts, the control links are not precisely the same when the servos are centered.

maybe the the servo itself is not screwed in perfectly in line with the other servo.

the gear set may be at neutral but if the servo itself is screwed into the rails crooked in relation to the other servo, that might cause this problem.

Are you in the same hole on both servo arms? Is the linkage in the same hole at the control horn?

The low throws are still pretty hot on the SE for a test flight. I would suggest lowering the throws to get closer to the low settings.
