6EXAS

I have the 6EXAS. I'm wanting to get a plane that requires dual elevator servos, but would rather not use a reversing Y. (I've heard too much about drift) I'm thinking I can setup dual elevator servos by using the pmix is this correct?

Thanks Bob:D

Why don't you post this question in the Futaba radio support forum.

Yes you can, but it will use your only free mix.

Install one of the servos backwards.

Have the servo arm on one near the front of the plane and the other with the servo arm near the back of the plane. One one of the servos have the arm coming off the opposite side. Use a regular Y and you should be all set.

If your radio can be programmed to do it of course that is better. I have the 7C and you can slave one channel to the other but the problem is that when you trim the model out it only trims the main channel. So on my radio it was not possible to setup the dual elevators so I used a reversing Y. I bought the one offered by Tower and have had 0 problems with it. I would have to see proof of the "drift" in order to think that it is a common problem.

That would make the linkage physically different, which would create different throws on each half. Read this article. http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=486
Thanks Bob

Thats what I had in mind was to slave one channel to the other. But If it only trims one side, I guess that's out. I havn't seen the drift problem, only read about it here on RCU.

Thanks Bob
