Transmitter range question

I live about a mile as the crow flies from a club site. It just occured to me that I'm may be shooting people down when I do things like setting throws at my house. Anyone think this is possible if I don't extend my antenna?

We have a similar situation. Probably less then a mile. When he is doing work with antenna down, it glitches the field.
Thankfully this guy is real considerate. When flying or testing he'll stop over and post a sign at the field. Club members know his frequency. I think two members have the same. I would heartly suggest you try some kind of check. Perhaps take a plane to the field and via cell phone have someone transmit. However a glitch is still more likely when the plane is up in the air. Find out who shares your frequency and get familar with him, perhaps exchange some phone numbers to alert when there could be interference. Nothing but ill will come of this unless you communicate.
