CA on Canopy and Monocote
 

How do I get it off? Acetone (fingernail polish remover)? Mineral spirits? I wanted to ask before I tried anything and really messed it up...
I used the CA before I read about special canopy glue DOH!

I have used acetone before on monocoat and it worked. You just need to keep at it. Don't know about the canopy though.

I bought some CA unbond (remover) from my LHS & it works pretty darn good. It turns the CA all rubbery & you can just rub it off.
I haven't tried it on a canopy or monocote yet so you'll certainly want to test it on them before going to town.
I use it a lot on my foamy's to recover my horns & motor mounts after the plane goes to a better place.

Zap brand de-bonder works pretty well.

Acetone will work on the monokote, but don't get it near the canopy.. you'll have a mess. A few years back, I noticed that the industrial 'de-bonder' that we used had a main ingredient listed... Nitro-methane! Yep, same stuff in 10, 15, 20% in our fuel. Try some Hi-test fuel on a paper towel, it might do the trick.
