Servo problem

I have had this happen 2 times now, and I am at a loss as to what is going on. I have a Graupner Showflyer, 3D plane, and it has a split elevator setup, a servo on each elevator half. This happened to me last year and I replaced Both servos, extensions, and the Y harness to them and had no problems at all during the flying season and now it's happening AGAIN ! What is happening is I have one servo for lack of a better term, "flapping" one elevator half. They both go up and then back to center, the one then goes up about 1/2 way of the original "up" and then back to center. I have looked at everything, I would think if it were a signal issue from the receiver, both halves would do that since they are on a Y connector ? Has anyone experienced this ? I am just a little disconcerted afer taking it down and firing it up to get ready for the upcoming season.

RE: Servo problem

Hi,

Have you checked your battery, connections and switch. I had a similar problem and after checking servos, RX, "Y" leads et al found the switch was not making a proper contact. Happy process of elimination. Occams razor???

Cheers,

Colin
