Top Flite Monokote Cleaner Polish works very well. It's a lot like waxing. You just spray it on and wipe it around good like in a waxing motion. Switch to a clean dry paper towel and wipe to dry and buff. The dry paper towel will just float across the covering from being smooth and slippery. I really like it. Maybe there are other products as well others could chime in about.

If you want to polish the monokote, use Pledge. It is cheaper than the monokote cleaner/polish and just as easy to apply.

Ditto ArCeeFlyer

I tried Pledge and it tends to leave streaks.

I use wax like I put on my pick up. It's from Mequires and is called NXT Generation. Cost $15 at Wal*mart. It only needs to be put on once a year. It really makes them shine in the sun.

RE: monkote wax?

on my p/u truck (and aircraft) i use Dri Wash n' Guard waterless carwash. it's a polymer finish, "clean, polish and protect in one step". you spray from the pump bottle, wipe and buff w/a terry towel, you're done, real easy. it cleans any fuel residue and protects the surface. works great on any non porous surface (paint, glass, plastic, fiberglass, chrome, ect). one nice thing is it never builds up, every consecutive coat just cleans the last coat and leaves a crystal clean finish. another thing, at one time i read, it's the only automotive finish tested by boeing for use on boeing aircraft (i don't know who used it on them).

I found an aerosol polish called PLEXUS that is for plastic and lexan. I bought mine at a motorcycle shop, they use it on the windshields to maintain clarity. It works extremely well on Monokote and Ultracote.
