Here is my storage solution. I use bike hooks and put them on the ceiling. I use a piece of string and a screw to hold the tail wheel.

Here is what I did. For the larger fuselages I took a 2x4, drilled holes in it, inserted and glued in dowls, covered them with foam and then mounted it where you see it on the ceiling. I think it would work just as well up against a wall. For the 40 size planes, I made some hangars out of pvc and fittings, and hung them up as shown. I did make each one specific to each plane, changing the length of pvc coming down so that when they are all hung up the props are all at about the same height. For the wings same thing with the 2x4 and dowels with foam. I did drill the holes with about a 3 deg tilt so they are tilted back towards the wall slightly.

Good luck.

Oh yea, I'm married :D:):D I just happen to have one of those one in a thousand wives that likes my hobby (puts up with my hobby may be a better term);) She does have the other half of the garage for storage. It does cost me a little in honey do's, but is WELL worth it! Besides, trucks and cars were built for the outside. Just have to get out and shovel the snow off in the winter once and awhile[X(]
