ys engines
do all ys engines come with a pump? I have never bought one but was thinking of buying a ys 110 for my showtime 4d

RE: ys engines
Yes, all of the YS engines use a pressurized fuel system. They have a diaphram in the engine that acts as the pump to put pressure on the fuel tank.

RE: ys engines
No need for a pump with a YS. If you have questions about YS engines, go to the manufacturers direct support fora (forums) and Dave Shadel will be glad to anwer your questions.

RE: ys engines
They are pricey, but a fine engine. If your looking for raw power, YS is your power plant. If your a fun flyer, and fly moderatly, a OS or Saito will do just fine for the money, but they do not have the pump system. It all depends on what kind or style of flying your going to be doing. I have both YS and OS, and have nothing but good things to say about both of them ..... Greg

RE: ys engines
as far as being pricey that is kind of a fallicy. 323.00 from central hobbies. a saito 125 will cost you 339.00. an os 120 with a pump will cost you around the same.

RE: ys engines
Even the two stroke YS's all with the same pump system Were superb engines. The YS pump system is a hugh advantage for sport flyer or competior of any discipline. Fuel tanks can be put anywhere you want them high or low, close or far away, multi engine tanks in the fuselage. The ability to put the fuel on every airplane (any airplane) on the CG alone is worth the price of admission.
