Midwest Attacker
 

Does anyone have any pics or dimensions of the Midwest Attacker? Its been out of production for some time and I would lie to build one out of Foam. It was a very attractive all-foam high wing designed by Jim Newman. I actually found a jar of Styromate and some Thinner that Midwest offered as a finishing material for the Attacker. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt that I have the plans or manual any more. I owned two of these planes and loved them, great flyer. I used mine to launch a space shuttle (r/c) it looked very realistic in its silver cover. I will let you know if I find the plans.

On the "Plans", they show the Attacker with a span of 48", area 430 sq. in. and uses an engine of .19-.40. The "plans" were only really instructions of how to build it, pictures of where to place all of your equipment and engine. There is nothing you could really base a build on if you didn't already have the foam fuse and wings.

The Designer of it is a good friend and he sent pics and specs to "roll my own"......It was quite an interesting story. A version could be produced qyute readily using Blue Foam for the fuse and cutting a set of wing cores. Jim Newmans version was done in a British scheme and was quite attractive.
