Fluttering Servo

Anyone had this problem before?
I've change this servo out four times and still get this jittering flutter.
What causes this? I've never came across it before.
Could it be because the servos are not a matching set? The one that is fluttering is newer than the other ones in the plane.
Or could some thing be wrong with the Rx ? ... it has been though one crash, but was very padded.
Any help would be great.

Here is a short vid of the problem if you wish to view it.

Thanks for any help.

I've had this happen after a full charge on the Rx pack. Did it still happen doing a range check OUTSIDE ? Often checking setups in the shop can overload the signal and cause one or more servo to flutter if the Tx is too close.

I'll give the outside range check tomorrow and see. The battery I just looked at it and it's at 4.9 ...it's also a new pack.
Thanks

RE: Fluttering Servo

If this happens no matter how far away from the plane, and it happens with different servos, then the problem is either in your transmitter or receiver. If you have another receiver you can try in the plane swap them out and see if the problem goes away. If not then send the radio in for service.

I'm with HuskerBoy on this one. With the antenna down, just take a few steps away from the plane. Nine times out of ten the jitters will go away after just a few feet of distance.

If not, have the Rx checked.

UPDATE:

I did an outside range check. Still Fluttering...
I changed out all the servos in the plane to all new ones and it has stopped.

This plane is the one I got from a yard sale posted in this thread...
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_49...tm.htm#4909453

Engine works great! Can't wait to fly this thing. Almost ready to go!!!

I guess the old servos in this plane were bad in some way? Maybe leaking out a signal or something?

But problem fixed.

Thanks for the help.
