Stick to Flight Video

Does anybody know how to make a sticks to flight video. Is it just take you camera and put it on a tripod add some music and continue. Does it have to be digital or can it be on a cassette. I just want to get some ideas.

What are you referring to as a stick to flight video? Do you mean having a video of the plane with the corresponding stick movements. The easier way to do that is with two cameras recording both items then later importing them in the computer and mixing them together. Pretty much any video editing software will suffice. The one that comes free with windows XP will probably do it. If you have a cassette type camera you may need to buy another piece of hardware that will allow you to connect RCA's to the computer for importing. HOwever most camcorders allow the option of importing video through the firewire port on the computer, if you don't have firewire its a good time to upgrade. haha

I'm talking about building a plane then showing the flight. I have seen some before and they were in a fast forward mode I know that. How about music editing?

Most of your music chores can also be taken care of in the video editors. Fades, etc. To get some powerful tools for video work, i suggest a purchasing a decent program. Well when i was working on my associates degree I helped out with the campus television center. Where they used Vegas Pro, which does EVERYTHING but, that program is hundreds of dollars. However a quick trip to best buy or circuit ****ty you could get a pretty powerful yet inexpensive piece of software. You should also check some of the threads on here about video editing, which could be found [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_353/tt.htm]Here[/link].
