What Sunglasses ?
 

I have an old pair of Fossil sunglasses that I fly with and I love them. Sad part is that they have those little metal tabs that hold the lens on, and one has broken. Just curious what kind of glasses others use and why they like them. These fossils do not change the color of everything, which I like, I hate amber, yellow, blue or weird color changes, I want the world to look as it is, not weird LOL.

Well then I guess you would hate my amber sunglasses I got from Costco for $29

Costco will put polarized non perscription lenses tinted lenses in any frame they sell for free..

If you can't get into Costco I've always prefered Raybans.

Ok, you know the huge black plastic sunglasses you get from the optometrist after you had you're eyes dialated? Strange as it sounds, quite often I fly with those... I'm pretty light sensitive and I can even look at the sun for a while with them. Not that I do that all the time, just when I fly past the sun.

Granted it does look pretty strange but hey, who cares? :) Best part... thier free!

Well ya have to have some semblance of cool tho LOL ...... Don't wanna look like Grandpa toolin around on a sunny Sunday pullin up at the drive thru window with the full head goggles lol.
Oakleys look cool, but for that kinda $$ I would wanna try them on b4 I buy.

getpolorized , and what ever you feel comforterble wearing just make sure that if your flying with the sun to your back that te suncannot get behind the lens becase it will reflect into your eyes (hats work greattoprevent this.)

yea, I like the wraparounds because of that. I has an older pair that I used when I first started flying, the reflection from behind was very irritating. Was in a ski shop and found a pair of Smith Optical Arcades. If they work on the snow and keep the glare down have to be great for flying. UV protected and polarized.
