SHEETED FOAM FIX ? HELP
Hello fellas,
I am currently building my first pattern ship. I had it mocked up on the shop floor, and my dog broke the rudder-no really, it was my dog- at any rate, I glued it and clamped it using alaphatic glue. Does anyone have experience with this? Should this fix hold? Thanks in advance. JW |

It should hold, but keep a close eye on it!
I use Gorrila Glue for repairing foam damage. You have to make sure there is room for the GG to expand out of the part, or you end up with a warped mess! I know this from personal experience [X(] But, when done right, it makes for an extremely strong repair and keeps the weight down. Doug |

Doug,
Thanks for the info. Next time I'll use gorrilla glue for sure. JW |
