brilli -50oz

DA50- 2.94 lbs

1 pounds = 16 ounces
2.94X16 =47.04

so aa 50 cc is 3 oz lighter then a 36cc

I think you'll find that the DA weight is WITHOUT ignition and muffler. The Brillelli includes it. Most 50cc engines weigh about 60 ozs. less battery.

Somewhere in the gas engine forums is a chart made up by someone that lists all the ACUTAL flying weights of 50cc engines. I'm sure you find that a DA 50 weighs a lot more than 2.94 lbs. ready to fly. My little 2.4 Brison weighs 64 ozs. ( 4 lbs. ) ready to fly including a 1100 mah battery.

Here read this. At least one owner says his DA 50 weighs 4 lbs. 2.9 ozs. ( 66.9 ozs. ) WITHOUT a battery.
