Full cans stored as you described Yes. I have used three year old fuel with no loss in performance.

I opened a 7-year old jug that was mistakenly left in a box stored in an outdoor shed. It had its original cap and seal, and weathered hot and cold climate with no ill effects.

I just read about this in one of the RC mags and they said years and years. Im saying years and years because I cant remember the exact number, but it was up to even something like 10yrs if stored properly. I was really suprised. I remember that.

G'day Mate,
The only problem with storage, IME, has been when a metal can was stored on concrete, the cold concrete can allow moisture to permiate the metal, & contaminate the fuel, don't know how, but it happens, if kept away from the concrete, up on wood, no problem.
